Biography
Nazia had awoken as a magic user at the very young age of 6, over something that seems quite silly in hindsight. She was upset that her cat died, and the emotions it caused snapped; her tears of sorrow instantly elevating into supernaturally loud cries. Not knowing the source of her powers, she kept them secret. At the age of 14, Nazia went illegally camping with some friends from high school in a protected national park. During the camping trip, she drank alcohol, partied, and had a great time. But, the garbage and noise from the party drew the attention of a larval Wendigo.
Wendigo are a type of nature-protecting spirit. When the larva are angry, they enter the bodies of humans and possess them, transforming them into predatory creatures that lust for human meat. Nazia heard noises from the forest that nobody else could hear, thanks to her sharpened hearing. Lured away from the party, she was attacked by a bear, and was forced to defend herself with a sonic boom that knocked over a few trees. The bear was a carrier of the angry Wendigo larva, and the sonic boom was its final straw. It leapt from the bear iinto Nazia and began to transform her.
Nazia had gone missing that night, and her family soon believed she was dead. But, in truth, Nazia was caught in a conflict between the Wendigo spirit inside of her. She could never return to civilization, as she grew to be 10 feet tall, and gained a lust for raw meat that she was afraid she would never overcome. Forced to become a hermit, Nazia spent her days as a cryptid, still unaware of magic in the world. Not knowing about how common magic in Dresserton was, she hid from everyone else
Nazia managed to stay hidden quite well, but one day she was discovered by resident forest ranger Yoana, who reached out to her and alerted Amvira to Nazia's presence. Amvira bought a Giant's Ring, and donated it to Nazia so she could shrink down to a human height, and has given her an oppurtunity to reenter society.

- Nazia's current (and only) outfit was given to her by Yoana. Before she met her, she was wearing animal skins.
- Nazia feels too guilty about disappearing without a word and letting her family think she was dead for almost a decade to reunite with them.
- Before becoming a Wendigo, Nazia would use her powers to record and play music to herself without a music player.
- She would also imitate her teacher over the phone and call home to get out of going to school.
- Nazia is less physically strong than she looks and is outstrenghened by Yoana, Akane, and Kiki when she's calm. This is because she spent more time practicing her magic and supressing her Wendigo urges than she did learning to manifest an aura.
- Nazia is actually mute. Her wendigo curse has atrophied her vocal chords to the point where she can only make a deep guttural roar. Nazia communicates by using her magic to emulate her pre-transformation voice.
- The Wendigo curse has flooded Nazia's body with large amounts of testosterone, which is why she's so hairy. Nazia shaves her moustache and beard but doesnt bother with anywhere else.
- She only started shaving her facial hair after her return to society, of course...
- Raw meat helps suppress the Wendigo curse. Hunger can make her lose her sanity and intelligence and go feral.
- Sometimes scratches her head with her foot.
| Nazia is a massive tank that takes up four spaces on the field and has the highest health pool in the game. While her magic resistance and evasion are decent, her physical defense is low meaning her massive health pool is her primary defensive tool. Nazia focuses less on damage and more on weakening enemies, making them less able to harm allies and more susceptible to damage themselves.
Nazia has a Rage trait that builds up as she attacks or takes damage. As it increases, her magical power increases, and her physical power increases even faster. At high rage, attacking foes becomes more effective than casting spells. However, if her rage becomes too high, she enters Feral Mode, gains even more attack power, and begins attacking everyone and everything indiscriminately. Best to leave her alone when that happens. |
