i only learned vaguely of solkeras in life as someone who thought i would never end up here and thus didn't need to learn about it

Yes. I am here as well. Many people are. I can tell because i hear screaming outside when i'm not thinking. And roaring. It sounds. Far too familiar for me to be comfortable with.

my former brother in law, currently threat to the world. i cleaved his skull down the middle, he pulled mine out. i've had quite a lot of time to think about exactly why he went berserk. and how i was a major catalyst.

...yes. it was something my family tried to cover up certain aspects to protect the family name. not surprising you hadn't heard all of it.

as for rest... it was my great niece, a girl close to my age when i died, and a young boy. they had. managed to get me in a state of mind where i could think properly. i remembered why i was doing what i did; to impart a specific talent onto someone, so they may stand a better chance at facing the monster i helped spawn.. i did so, and i was able to pass on safely. i hadn't expected to end up here... but i can see i more than deserved it.
