Does anyone here have any characters with direct or partial reference/inspiration from Gaelic/Celtic nations or culture? Been on TH for a while and haven't seen many. If you do, tell me all about them!!!!
I'll go first with Bedwyr. Despite being a fantasy character, his inspirations are on the nose, with many odes to Welsh iconography and alike—a big dragon man with a soft heart.

But yeah he's just some guy from Brittany :0 I'm so sorry his profile is short for now so it lacks depth but he grew attached to the culture thanks to his grandma mostly!! As he's a "realistic"/"down-to-earth" character he isn't really inspired by the folklore or anything, but more like. The stereotypes we Frenchies have about this specific region of the country lol

Her families immigration story is an interesting part of her character given it feeds into her interest about the Olympic, so neat i love it!

Cliona is GLORIOUS. Oh my goodness, her design is so ethereal and beautiful, unlike other fae-like methods I've seen. I always love when a banshee shows up; I enjoyed this insight into her story and world; thank you for sharing!
