Gewen is a soft person who works for an evil company wich engages in numerous criminal activities such as making the worst schedules for college students, making the Bretagne shores very slippery, and magic nuclear war on a city scale. He is the right hand man of the god of Chaos and is very much in love with it. This makes his moral compass... dubious, to say the least. As in, he is the kindest most wise person you will ever meet until you learn that he doesn't mind his boss causing the Apocalypse. That absolutely does not stop him from being just and against anything hurtful, or wanting the best life for everyone.
His religion frowns upon anything resembling life after death, bringing people back to life, etc. Basically anything that could equate to refusing death as the end of all things. His main job is basically killing spirits and the likes that still haunt his city. He does his best to make sure they go in peace most of the time, but there are things he just cannot understand.
Gewen grew up with his brother, in the mountains of his homeplanet, raised by goat Spirits. Their biological parents seemingly abandoned them in the wild and their survival was only thanks pure luck. With a childhood like this it is surprising that he would turn out so... civilized..
Him and his brother Avran joined their peers when they were young and ended up doing their military service to "fit in" better. Gewen was 16 to 18, however Avran was much younger than that. He had a much better time than his brother in the military, being a naturally social person. Everyone found that he has a kind of magnetic aura that makes him very likeable and he rapidly developed an appreciation for people. He still feels guilty over this time in his life, considering his brother was going through hell while he blended in effortlessly.
This was cut short however when they were sent to battle in the war ongoing on their homeplanet. They were'nt supposed to end up on the front lines but due to an unexpected attack they did anyways. Gewen was so traumatized by the event that he was deemed unfit for the military. Given their predicament, their god in its almighty kidness (?) decided to send them to Earth since they were having such a hard time. Like some kind of reverse isekai. It was notably regarded as a "bad move" but Gewen found his place on Earth in the end. He still considers his homeplanet to be his real place and comes back to it whenever he can.!
The admiraiton and devotion he developed for his God and king during his time in the army didn't dwindle one bit upon his arrival on Earth. He is very happy to be his king's right hand man on Earth even if it's for... less important matter.

- He is very polite and kind. He is very much against anything that could limit someone's freedom, per his religious belief but also just because he's the altruistic kind.
- He reads people's behaviour far too well, wich doesn't merge well with his complete lack of tact. He has the tendency to tell people very direct and sometimes intrusive facts about their psyche they didn't even notice could be known. He gets very embarassed if anyone tells him that's innapropriate. He tries his best to avoid it though.

Gewen's brother. They love each other very much. He considers his brother to be a blessing in his life, even if they don't agree on everything. Ironically, he thinks his existence is some king of god given miracle.
She is simply angelic... They truly were made for each other. Jipsio protects Gewen from his own obliviousness and insistance on resolving everything without violence. And he cooks for her. Feminism
Gewen is devoted to her body and soul. Maybe a bit too much. He sees her as a way of honoring his people and appreciating life. It gives him meaning. This is one of the things he probably won't ever budge about... except if it hurts his brother.
These middle aged men were truly made to get along. Or rather, bicker, hurt each other, have a long and agonizing journey to learn the value of trust and communication and THEN actually get along.
They're exes if exes could be exes without ever having dated. Their relationship is a moral quandry in and of itself. And also a very bad soap opera. Oz (used to) take people's names, making them his property in order to "protect them". Gewen finds that is in and of itself a violation of their freedom. They are in love, also.
Gewen is very attached to the little guy and tries to teach him how to navigate through life. Malo is... difficult to handle, let's put it this way, but Gewen loves him very much. Yes, even when he obliterates the shore. And that's saying something.
Him and Mariette both did their military service together and have kept in touch ever since! Mariette's cheerful but cheeky personality complements Gewen's very well.
Logan has been wondering who could be killing all the spirits in Kerpolis. Well little does he know! It's our favorite little goat man. Gewen finds that very amusing, and doesn't care much about hurting the feelings of this horrible man.
Gewen absolutely never wants to hate people and always finds the bright side of a situation. However, he finds this guy AWFULLY annoying. He has grown and cultivated contempt for him that would make him shake in his boots. I mean, he did try to kill his brother and then DARED to act all sad about it. You don't GET to act sad about it!
This man is... strangely nice. Gewen guesses it's because he's dating Gewen's boss, and Gewen's boss, well, likes Gewen. Gewen is, of course, insanely jealous. He tries not to show it though.
