Basics
Custard is a good boi. He's a sweetie, easy-going and a bit lazy. He can also be very shy, hiding his face underneath his apple helmet. Other Pokemon are attracted by the scent on the syrupy crust on his back, especially bug types, and he often has to fend them off so they don't try to eat it. He's especially nervous around new Pokemon or in new environments due to this.
With close friends however, he is known to sometimes share the sweet crust on his back, especially as a way to cheer them up if they're feeling down. His also emits a light from the gem at the end of his tail, which he uses to help navigate himself and others in the dark or stormy weather to shelter.

Design Notes
General
- Wears apple hat 99.9% of the time.
- It can be pushed up/back to show his eyes, though he usually keeps his eyes hidden.
- Inside of hat is yellow-white, like the inside of an apple.
- Both his forehead and tail gems are apple-shaped.
- Both gems can glow, but the tail gem can shine brightly.
- I'm debating having the apple on his tail be reversed, with the leaves growing from the bottom rather then the top?? So it can be drawn that way instead if preferred!
- Like Appletun, his ears can perk up. The underside also resembles eyes, like Appletun, so he appears to "look around" with them even though he can't see with them.
- His back is covered with a sweet syrup, so it has a shine to it.
Markings
- His dark green markings are all speckled. Speckling can be random/not exact. These include:
- Three stripes on neck
- Two stipes on ears
- Two stripes on tail + tip of the tail.
- Speckling on paws, hips, and head (forehead/crown).
- Has two markings above forehead gem that look like apple leaves.
- Stomach marking resembles an halved apple.
- Underside of ears resemble eyes / apple seeds.
- Has two leaves on apple hat, apple tail gem, and center of back. Each leaf is red on one side and green on the other.
