Born the day of the apocalypse, descended from a cursed lineage and the literal reason the apocalypse happened. Michael Aiden Ross, the son of Johnathan Ross went through suffering everyone else had to, besides being the unknowing recipient of the third iteration Cistal. Losing his father and sister at a young age and then his mother to obsession and grief, Michaels rebel streak hit hard as he delved into his teenage years- fleeing from toxic household and into the hands of an orphanage that attempted to fix the damage done to the broken system in an attempt to flee his past. Hearing of his mother's disappearance, Michael - now going by Aiden - joins the military, the last place she was heard to have been, in hopes of finding out what had happened to her. Along the way a divine stroke of fate had it that he was placed in a platoon with Kat, the love of his life.

Michael, or more commonly known by his middle name as Aiden, is a really good boy, trying his best, but also trying to look a lot edgier than he is. He might be 20, but he was a little late to reveling in his teenage angst and edge. He was born named after the arch-angel Michael as his parents thought he would be a great guardian older brother. After having lost his dad and his precious younger sister to a beast attack, he refused to be called by his first name as he did not "feel worthy" after having failed to keep his sister safe.

While he may try to embrace his moody angst, he is genuinely a really soft guy that is just trying to live and cope in a post-apocalyptical world. He wishes to have a normal life and have people he cares about, but often gets drawn into the midst of post-apocalyptica. It also doesn't help that his soul is sleeping and unawoken soul of the Big Bad TM that years ago brought upon a similar apocalypses. It doesn't help that the beasts are waiting for him to mature his angst, edge, and pain to reawaken as the King of Beasts. It doesn't help that the strongest beasts are trying to make him live up to the prophecy and make him their king. Poor boy is barely not a teen, he just wants to live life.

Aiden is a young adult and is actually a really wholesome older brother of sorts. He is actually a pretty soft and caring person, but he went through some shit and really likes to convince himself and pretend that he is A LOT edgier than he actually is. He is actually the main character of the story most of my OCs come from and suffers from Main Character Syndrome in the sense that he is the reborn soul of the Big Bad that upon his birth brought along the apocolypse as beasts and monsters overtook the world in wait for him to turn fully bad and remember his origins as the King of the Beasts.

Cept the dude really really has the personality of a big brother who wants to take his sister to the library and cook brownies more than he is to want to wage a war against humanity. Alas though, his sister and dad got killed in the apocolypse and it steered him in the direction of joining the Beast Corps ( a part of the military orientated to killing beasts ) as a way of trying to cope and make up for his "failure to protect his family for being weak" and thus it kinda pushes the story forward.
