With little expectations from her from both parents other than the occasional noble meet up and De LeClare "family" check-in, Xandra's noble last name served more for show than anything else. Jaded by nobility and the state of the world, Xandra befriended Katelyn - a classmate of similar nobility status and cynicism - and, in the midst of their adolescent rebellion against their parents' expectations, joined the Beast Corps.
