Astrocyanite seems like a shy quiet and nervous Gem, but in reality they are just soft spoken. They’re incredibly curious and book smart, working with Pitchblende to develop tools to view and record the night sky and weather patterns. In terms of social, they’re very friendly but often fall victim to Ekanite or Vicanite’s teasing as they are naive. They work more at night so are allowed to sleep in. Their movements display their fragile body however, and they’re aware of it. In the beginning it was difficult for them as the Gems’ last fragile Gem had a rough time and had ended up throwing themselves into a fight before being taken, while another previous Gem interested in the skyward direction was also captured, so the remaining Gems were nervous when Astrocyanite came with these similar quirks. They however are different and have shown that to the others. They were born after Mother became inactive so their connection to her is not as deep, but they do find it fascinating to listen to how Mother was and have offered to analyze Mother to see if Astro can find a solution.
"Through my observations, I believe that the Sky Guardians possibly inhabit one of the Moons... I’ll need to develop a stronger lens in order to see clearly but there appears to be structures on it."

Mother
[ unknown ] Astrocyanite emerged after Mother had gone dormant. Astro never met her and was taught by the other Gems how to read, write, and speak. They were introduced to Mother however.
