Making a comic, you end up with a lot of characters with interconnected stories. I'm also someone who likes to change up the appearance of my characters through the layers they wear and alternative outfits they have.
So I made a layout for myself to present this info in an interactive manner, and by popular request I am now releasing the code!
Features: Interactive design inspector with front & back views and alternative outfits, key items with descriptions, & relationship carousel. It is also fully compatible with Safehou-se.
Be aware that this is a code with no small amount of set-up. You will need to make a lot of assets — Tempest here has around 40 images per outfit! You can commission me to create the assets for you, if you like.

Wand
To mistake this for a wooden gun would be an understandable mistake to make. But for all its gun-like shape, it lacks a most key component — there's no trigger.
An elaborately shaped wand, but a wand nonetheless.
Halberd
Dual sided like a labrys, the head of this halberd almost evokes a trident...if a trident was capable of removing your head.
Etched into its surface are crashing waves amidst a storm — the mark of Rhodesma's followers.
Hat
Seen on its own, it's a rather curious looking tricorn hat with deep notches in its sides.
Worn on Tempest's head, it becomes obvious very quick what the notches are there for.
Notes:
- Tempest is very fond of her coat. She's had it replaced a couple of times—though it looks like a regular coat, it is actually lightly enchanted so that it's ever so slightly float-y.
- If her horns give you trouble... Keeping them on model is my burden to bear, don't worry about it.
- To see her back tattoo clearly, uncheck the clothing layers and set her hair to down.

The craftmanship on this cutlass is exquisite.
On its hilt is a beautiful — if a little gaudy — engraving of a leviathan. Carved into the blade in a delicate hand is a long series of runes.

- This is tempest's "Arc 2" look! This is after she returns to the sea.
- She does not use her wand anymore. Though she now has a sword, her preferred weapon is still her halberd.

Friends with benefits to first mate with benefits and wife, depending on where you are looking in the timeline.
Tempest saved her life, and in turn Callisto has returned the favour and much more. Despite her best efforts, Tempest finds herself unable to say no to the woman. What can she say... pretty girls are her weakness.
She can't help but find her sincerity endearing, and finds herself wanting to help her and... you know. In any case, over time, to her great horror she finds that she actually likes her.

No longer having a ship of her own and being not the most low profile person visually, Tempest ended up briefly working with Debauchery to figure something out. A you help me I help you kind of deal - but they also quickly became genuine friends.
As a powerful wizard in her own right, Debauchery is one of the few people who has genuinely nothing to fear from upsetting Tempest, so they have a little bit of an antagonistic friendship. One of the few people Tempest feels truly comfortable around.

When they were younger and marginally more dumber (they have not gained many extra braincells over the years), she and Tempest were fwb who fell in love with each other. But, they both mistakenly believed it was one-sided, despite the nature of their relationship.
Kabira's purpose, her relationship with Dhanya... she wants Kabira to live for herself, to do what she wants because she wants to. To live selfishly. She hates seeing Kabira sacrificing herself and her wellbeing for the sake of others. But at the same time, if what Kabira wants is to be self destructive, then...she won't get in the way.
Tempest had resolved to tell Kabira her feelings, but before she could, she was arrested and had her ship taken from her. From Kabira's perspective, Tempest had just grown bored of her. From Tempest's perspective, she'd made a mistake opening her heart like that.

Tempest's old first mate. Tempest slept around a lot, but Aquila believed what they had was something different—the sea and her storm, an unstoppable duo who takes as they please.
When Tempest met Kabira and truly began to love someone, Aquila realised just how wrong she had been and grew bitter and wrathful.

Anyway despite all the mixed signals she keeps getting from Poppy, they're besties and will never be more than that. Sorry Tempest. Poppy is just SO excited to finally have a best friend! And she'll never say it, but she honestly likes Poppy enough that she's willing to be friends.

Tempest is not keen to listen to others, much less work for them. But, she can't deny that not having to keep a low profile is a nice, and the money especially so.
So, at least for now, she'll work with the woman. Whether she will or won't stay is entirely up to her own whims, let it be known that this is a temporary arrangement.
