He was meant to come out as either an Amethyst or Quartz but instead came out as a Cacoxenite. When the Peridots came to collect the gems in his section of the kindergarten, he noticed that he didn't look like the other gems coming out of the surface. Before the Peridots came, he booked it as quick as possible.  

He hid behind the rocks in the distance and laid low. Sinking low to his knees, he put his head to his knees. There must've been at least one other gem who must have saw him. He was dreading the gems that would come after him and shatter him painfully.

He had no idea what to do next; when a purple hand reached down. Cacoxenite looked up and saw Grape Agate. She offered him a free run away, with no look back, and no way for anyone to find him. As long as he would do anything she asked of him with no questions asked. Of course, he went with her.
