Personality: Sphene is a bubbly and oblivious gem to the rest of gem society and was meant to be a pearl originally, but came out wrong. The Jasper he was assigned to still loved him and poofed several other gems who wanted to shatter him, throwing the two into exile. She fled to Earth with the small gem, leading them to have to intermingle with this new species.
