- Rhae is a mercenary and founder of The Blue Shields, a wandering company whose services range from fighting bandits to offering armed escorts.
- Inspired by the heroism of her late father, Rhae is devoted to making a positive difference in the world. She views people by their actions and is quick to trust those she sees as good people. Rhae genuinely cares about her fellow Blue Shields and sees them as a family. Rhae appreciates the people around her and isn't afraid to turn to them for advice and help.
Rhae is brave but reckless. Once in a battle against bandits, Rhae got cocky and was nearly killed for it. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, especially to those in authority. She is brash and very competitive, even with the other Shields. Rhae prides herself on her training and would never turn down a sparring session. - Backstory
- Rhae is from a small coastal city. In between school and working in her mom's blacksmithy, her father gave her sword training. A quick learner, Rhae had dreams of becoming a hero.
- When her father passed away, Rhae fell into a slump, unsure what she wanted to do with herself. She discovered his old diaries and found out he was once a renowned mercenary. Reading through his diary, Rhae's heroic spark reignited. She would start her own company to continue her father's legacy. With a goal in mind, she continued to train and work with her mother in the shop. On Rhae's twentieth birthday, Brandy gave Rhae her father's sword, Dawn. With her mother's blessing Rhae founded The Blue Shields and set out to begin her journey.
- Rhae met Cynthia Tempest while passing through Ara's Cove. When the town was ransacked by bandits, Cynthia and Rhae were captured. Rhae cut herself and Cynthia free, and the duo were able to fight back by working together. Impressed with Cynthia's tactical skills, Rhae offered a spot on the team. Cynthia accepted, becoming the Blue Shields' tactician. After several months on the road, Rhae and Cynthia had fallen for each other and became lovers.
During a skirmish with brigands, Rhae and Cynthia and Rhae were in a losing fight. Surrounded, the two were almost overrun when Essa emerged from the underbrush, musket in hand. The three fought the attackers off, winning the day. After reaching the nearest town, Rhae recruited Essa into the company, amazed by her skill as a healer and a sharpshooter.
After helping Beth Morris expose corruption in her town and saving her father's life, Beth freely offered her skills as a thief and merchant.- With a larger crew, Rhae leads her mercenaries across the kingdom to help out wherever they are needed. Their life isn't flashy, but Rhae and her crew are content with the lives they lead. The Blue Shields were last seen headed towards Montelon, where war has ravaged the landscape.
- Her goal at the moment is to build a village for refugees to settle down and also function as a base for her mercenaries.

Rhae cares deeply about Cynthia. Spending months adventuring together brought the two closer together, and the bond they share can never be broken. Rhae thinks very highly of her girlfriend and personally doubts she'd be the same person if the two had never met. - Essa Allard
