He is just your average semi-popular college kid, Kobe is blissfully ignorant to the world of yokai and the supernatural. Though this was on purpose seeing as his best friend, Tansho, had been shielding him fron the truth since their meeting. Despite slightly playing dumb, Kobe knows something is up with his secretive friend who would never even invite him over to his house! Despite knowing that his friend wasn't being 100% transparent with him he can't help but develop feelings for him...
Once Sumin transferred into their class Kobe found it odd that Tansho knew someone who hadn't lived there for years.. seeing as Tansho had been glued to him since he was 4. As his time with Sumin grows he began to notice the rivalry he had with Tansho and waited paitently for Tansho to fill him in... he had hoped. Only to find out his friend had been a god all along by being threatened with a scythe and having him come to the rescue. Kobe is obviously shocked at proof of a gods existence, and feeling betrayed. Like he was just a toy. But these feelings subside after he talks with his mom who happened to know Tansho's secret. Of course he was mad, and wanted Tansho to come apologize to him so he ignored him in class... but Tansho never came. After being fed up of being seperated he marched over to the shrine of the God of Curation and demanded an explanation, after hearing Tansho out he is moved to tears. Despite still being hurt for the years of being lied to he confesses his love annnnnnnd they get together (Woo!)
