Having once wandered the Earth to oversee the development of humanity, the fallen angel Kabaiel is both intimately familiar with the ways of human society while also having no idea how it functions. After being cruelly cast from the heavens, he found himself overwhelmed with pain and hatred for all living things, quickly succumbing to rage and the desire to destroy everything around him. It falls to Evangelis and Engel Wicker to put an end to his murderous rampage, but he will not be so easily quelled.

Until recently, Kabaiel served the angels as an Archangel, charged with the surveillance of human society in Gaelen. He was sent to live amongst humans for several decades, learning how they interacted with one another and worked together as a society. Although he began his mission with the same trepidation that most of his kin tends to share, he quickly became enamored with humanity, always in awe of their ingenuity and ability to overcome all obstacles.
However, when he reported back to his overseers, they judged him to be too attached to humans and cast him out of Heaven, stripping him of his wings and leaving him for dead. Kabaiel had no idea how to manage this immense betrayal, as angel society does not usually allow for strong emotions, and he quickly grew to blame humanity and angelkind alike for his downfall. He allowed himself to become swallowed in rage and pain, and now seeks to enact vengeance on all who hurt him, which is both Heaven and Earth in their entirety. He will keep fighting, even when pushed beyond his limits, because he sees nothing else that matters more than his revenge.

- Kabaiel hates how humans initially exalted him upon his fall from Heaven, because he was being asked for divine favors immediately after his traumatic divine punishment.
- Like most fallen angels, Kabaiel often feels chill; he prefers to wear long and heavy sweaters, and kept the scarf that was given to him by humans when they pulled him out of the ocean.
- He fights constantly, and he wants to win- but at the same time, he feels strangely satisfied when someone beats him or challenges him to change.
- Damage to his core during his Falling has made him heal much slower than a normal angel, almost on par with a human; his pain tolerance is still abnormally high, however.
