Aeron

Aeron takes a lot after his dad and is really close to him in general. Aeron finds Kaeya's slightly chaotic parenting to be real fun, even in the current day as an adult. He knows he can always come to his dad if he ever needs anything.

Growing up, Aeron was a pretty big momma's boy. Etain had a big thing for coddling him as a child, so he's very used to it even when he's grown. If he's having trouble, he knows and is not embarrassed by the fact that he can still go to her for comfort.

Since childhood, Aeron's mom and dad wanted him to have a close relationship with his uncle Diluc, and that he did. Aeron got real close to Diluc when they would spend time together in his youth so he really admires him. Diluc was even the one who taught Aeron his skills with a weapon.

Aeron has always seen Zhi as the "cool uncle." Zhi takes him out on trips to Liyue with Yanfen, and oftentimes probably gets into thrilling situations with a young Aeron. It most likely got him in trouble, but surely he just wants his little nephew to have fun and live a little.

Since childhood, Aeron and Yanfen have been really close with each other and still spend quite a bit of time together. Oftentimes, they like to be mean to each other and make fun of each other as their form of joking. They also like to compete with impressing other people, so it makes their relationship all the more chaotic. Although they are mean, Aeron is very protective for his little cousin and would do anything to make sure she is okay.

The two have known each other since their early teenage years, and since then Aeron claims to have held feelings for her. As adults, they are partially long-distance as Nomoi resides in Snezhnaya for work. At times they will see each other when she can make it back to Mondstadt, but their form of communicating back and forth is mostly through sending letters back and forth.

Aeron meets Qiuyue through Yanfen while he takes trips to Liyue with her and his uncle Zhi. He thinks she's very sweet and polite, and a nice match for Yanfen. His protective instincts kick in sometimes for his precious cousin, which scares poor little Qiuyue sometimes, but either way, she still tolerates him.

A lot of this connection is just an idea and theories again, but after the fall of Khaenri'ah, Astrid vowed to protect the royal family, in this case, Kaeya's family. If Astrid survives to the end of the timeline of the game and beyond that, whatever takes place leads her to meet Aeron. Because she'd once vowed to protect the royal family, the first thing she did was bow to Aeron and his siblings. It leaves him and the other two confused, but he learns to accept the peculiar lady nonetheless.
