Give it two years, it didn't take long for his acquaintances to realize the cause of it. But at that time he was already breaking the barriers that he held up for years. He stopped working for Faith's restaurant, whether it was because he wanted to stay away from Hope or he just wanted to continue his career as a pâtissier. While working endlessly in his uncle's bakery, not only he managed to finish culinary school, but this made him credible pastry chef throughout the world. He left his uncle's bakery to start things off with a brand new dessert shop (known as TheBax) that eventually opened up all over California.His profession and perfection in his creation won him contests and praise from legendary chefs. His population grew practically tenfold and his shops were almost always flooded.

Yet, something dwelling within him never left him even if he moved on.

He found himself progressively loathing against the Prodigal, specifically Hope, since the death of his friend. Despite always coming home for his family and friends, the distance between him and Baron were progressively tense.

Chanse, the only man that seems to know Elliot personally within these recent years, began to study his change. His personality drastically changed from a individual with no self-confidence nor goals, to a legendary figure with a scary persona and assertiveness. Elliot was once a gentle man who cared for all of his acquaintances, but Ransford found him rather surprising to see him as one of the strictest people he has ever met.

> This change started about two years after the death of Emery, otherwise around the portion where the [Grand Prodigal] timeline starts.
> The only physical changes that Elliot underwent is the slightly taller height, his casual style eventually changed to more professionalism, but he also stopped using glasses. He now uses contacts.
> Elliot started to take some unhealthy habits that he hasn't had before. This includes the lack of sleeping, heavily drinking, and even sex. Many of his friends find him in the brothel that the Prodigal owns.
> Elliot's alcohol tolerance is better than it was before. He drinks much more often, but he also equally hates it because hangovers often lead to vomiting. Elliot is emetophobic, meaning that he has a fear of vomitting.
> He doesn't really take his relationships (romantically) seriously. The only relationship he actually had cared for is his relationship with his last partner, Chanse. Since then he hasn't been interested in getting romantically involved.
> Baxter hold some sort of grudge against [Hope]. This was also the reason why Elliot ended the relationship with Chanse; not only he didn't want to hurt him, but it was the fact that he could not handle seeing him. Being with Chanse would only increase the chances of meeting Baron. This is also the same reason as to why he stopped seeing Faith, or visiting his restaurant entirely.
> Bax doesn't hold his work as seriously as it was before. His precise and almighty intellect has not changed, and he merely used it for the growth of his restaurant. Believing it to be at its highest peak, he spends most of his time fooling around back home.
> He still cooks for his friends, and will continue to do so. He hold his friendship highly and it seems to be the only thing that he cares so deeply about.
