Konpeito Tirrum's Links
Konpeito and her brother Rez were so young when Diane moved in with their father that all they have left of their biological mother are a few pictures in an album and vague memories that grow weaker with every passing day. Therefore, while curiosity as to what might have been definately lingers for the little girl, Konpeito loves Diane with all her heart and doesn't hesitate to show it. She doesn't even call her 'step-mother' - for Konpieto, Diane is just her MOTHER mother, to whom she can go for anything at all. She also has no fear that her love isn't truly reciprocated! This is because A) her pink powers hadn't truly developed back then and Diane didn't act any differently, and B) Diane's power of mind gives her great mental fortitude, thus a certain resistance to any magics that aim to warp her will or emotions. This means that Konpeito's own unintentional juvenile enchantments just.... bounce off of Diane's shield like Nerf bullets against a tank. Konpeito treasures this straight and untainted relationship above all else. It's the only one she's never doubted!
Completely unaware that she has a half sibling on her father's side, and does not know Dresden exists. Yet.
Dresden knows about Konpieto, but since her half sister seems just about as shy as she is, Dresden figures that approaching Rez on his own is the best move. Once she gets to know HIM, she figures that he'll introduce her to Konpeito.
