Miles Orejac

Miles is generally a pretty chill person, but with Val (or anyone else) all common sense goes out the window and problems are caused. Enjoys teasing the shit out of everyone, but is often the therapist of the ship and is a great listener. When especially emotional of vulnerable, will hide out in warm places or just awkwardly grab onto someone like a koala.

Backstory
Miles's parents died when he was young. They had originally lived in a human settlement that was very anti-hybrid. Unfortunately, both of Miles parents had recessive traits that showed up in Miles, resulting in him being a sheep. Though his parents died by the hands of the settlement, Miles was saved by his grandfather and grew up on the ship, seeing the world.

Miles and his grandpa met Vallerie as a child by pure luck after she ran away. The family took her in and Miles grew up alongside Vallerie. Due to a major injury, Miles's grandfather was forced to retire early and settle down. Since he was too weak to sail anymore, their grandfather gifted the ship to Vallerie and Miles and asked them to go around the world and visit past partners, ship members, and friends to tie up loose ends he'd left. Although they refused at first, they eventually agreed, stayed in Solvern for a year to raise funds, and left the country for their trip. Vallerie and Miles make sure to send their grandfather letters and souvineers from where they'd visited and call him when they can.
