Often times, Riku talks a lot and is always full of energy. She enjoys playing tricks on people she doesn't like, and could sometimes be seen as annoying. (The type of annoyance that you miss when it's gone!) Riku just radiates "little sister" energy all the time, but she knows when to be serious.
Riku is the 43rd beacon. She represents the spirit and form of a fox, and is set as the protector of the imperial Princess, Aliah. Riku and Aliah met at a very young age and during that time, grew very close. Riku, who felt like she would now be nothing without the Princess, vowed to protect and be with Aliah until the end. They are currently bonded by a blood contract. Riku may look to be carefree and clumsy, but she keeps a sharp eye on her surroundings. If something goes wrong, she takes in all the benefit of doubt and overthinks it. It is essential to calm her down before she gets too emotional. Overall, Riku is a very sweet girl with a big heart who just enjoys living life as is.
Riku found Taro to be a very interesting and cute person. Her curiosity soon led to her developing a crush on Taro. It is said that very rarely, Taro could be seen with emotion. Although with Riku, she always successfully brings out a smile from him.
Riku thinks that Axel constantly steals Aliah away from her so she naturally developed a disliking to him. She enjoys messing with Axel and bothering him, but deep down she knows how much Aliah means to him so she respects that. Riku always call Axel by the wrong name purposely. (ex. Arnold, Axe, Anal, etc)
These two have a very special relationship. They are each other's right hand. Aliah is like a kind older sister to Riku, and Riku is her protector. As said before, they have a blood-bounded contract. Riku has vowed to protect Aliah with her life.
