Kitty Quinn
The DevilKitty is a glamorous, high-strung, attention-seeking diva from a 5e campaign I’m in. She is technically a warlock, but prefers to keep her pact with a devil (Don) pretty hush hush - after all, she has a reputation as a classy singer to maintain.
Bluntly speaking, Kitty is an absolute wreck: she has no idea how to handle her emotions, seems to only ever find self worth by appealing to the worst of the worst, genuinely believes that every misfortune she receives is well deserved, and is constantly afraid for her life - however, she is very good at hiding all of that, and appearing as someone who is actually put together. Kitty’s main priority is her singing career, and she is currently desperately trying to get famous - she only really took up adventuring to make ends meet, and plans to keep things distant and professional with her teammates, but we’ll see how long that lasts.

Kitty has always greatly looked up to Myra - ever since she was a child, the most important thing to her was gaining her mother’s approval and affection, which was no easy task.
Bluntly speaking, their mother-daughter relationship was abusive. Myra was very exploitative and relentlessly critical towards her daughter, treating her as nothing more than a tool to gain money and notoriety. Myra’s priority was Kitty’s performance work, she was intensely controlling in all aspects of her daughter’s life, and rarely ever expressed kindness or praise towards Kitty - which only made her isolated daughter all the more desperate for her validation. Myra would also take any negative emotion Kitty expressed as a sign of disrespect, and so, Kitty learned through punishment to bottle up and conceal such feelings - an internal approach she still uses to this day.
Kitty loves her mother very much, and fails to recognise how awful Myra’s treatment of her was - still earnestly believing that she was, as Myra had put it, merely concerned for her daughter's future. Kitty genuinely believes that she has failed Myra, and that she needs to redeem herself and be proven worthy of her mother’s love.
