About
Elliot is a introverted and anxious, yet friendly and down-to-earth dog. He is the son of a prominent pirate hunter, Douglass Fisher, but one would never make the connection at a first glance because of his cautious nature and the fact that he suffers from severe thalassophobia. Even as a puppy, Elliot was known among his peers for his practical and quiet personality and was considered “wiser beyond his years” by the adults of the village. Unfortunately his fear of the ocean - as well as his reclusiveness - only worsened after his father’s death. Elliot would never have dreamed of becoming a sailor, but when his sister, Eva, proposes an adventure of a lifetime in honour of their father, he feels compelled to join her...

Trivia
- He likes to collect seashells and make sailor’s valentines using them.
- His favourite flavour of ice cream is mint chocolate chip - he can eat a whole tub of it in one sitting.
- He owns an old teddy named Patches that was gifted to him by his mother - he still sleeps with Patches every night.
Design
Design Notes
- He is usually drawn in his feral form when drawn alone, but should ideally be drawn in his anthro form when alongside the rest of the Smooth Seas cast. His anthro form is always clothed.
- He has a dark patch over his left eye (viewer’s left) - it’s not super obvious, but it is there!
- He only has three freckles on each cheek.
- His tail is thick and medium lengthed.
- The spots on his back are random.

Eva and Elliot have always been extremely close, and that bond was only further strengthened after the deaths of their parents. As children, Eva was always the more outgoing of the pair while Elliot was more timid; the same dynamic applies even in their adult years.
Elliot was incredibly suspicious of Roger to begin with, and struggled to get along with him. However, the two became close friends over the course of their adventure together, despite their differences.
Elliot also struggled to trust Xander at first, and found him incredibly annoying. However, the two have also grown close to each other over time, and Elliot is usually entertained by Xander’s antics nowadays rather than frustrated by them.
It should come as no surprise that the pirate responsibile for causing so much distress in his family is Elliot’s worst enemy. Elliot loathes Nikolai - there is little more to say.
As a puppy, Elliot incredibly close to his mother, Daisy. The two spent a lot of tike together and shared similar personality traits. While she was still alive, Elliot and her enjoyed partaking in bonding activities with each other, such as making puzzles and gardening.
This isn’t to say that Elliot wasn’t close with his dad - in fact, the two were very close despite their differences. Douglass shared more mellow moments with his son and encouraged him to overcome his fears as a puppy, without coercing him into anything.
Elliot will likely never have children of his own - he just doesn’t like the idea of being a father. But with that being said, he adores spending time with his niece, Riley, and in turn she admires him despite his somewhat cowardly personality.
