About
Roger is a bold and arrogant tiger with a love for sailing the seas and stealing gold. As a child, he was abandoned by his biological parents and taken in by a stern panther named Nikolai - the two felines were incredibly close for a period, but as he grew older, Nikolai would grow cold towards Roger. Eventually Roger would leave the nest and join the Whitewhisker Crew, an infamous gang of pirates with a reputation for their violence and greed. Roger would leave this crew shorlty afterwards following an argument between him and the captain, a decision he did not regret - after all, it granted him with greater independence and meant that he no longer had to share his gold with a crew. For several years, Roger was certain that the pirate lifestyle suited him and made little effort to change his ways, but after an encounter with a fox named Eva, Roger’s life takes an unexpected turn…

Design Notes
- The anchor and fish shaped charms that hang from his shoulder pads, as well as his necklace are optional, but highly preferred. Ideally, they should only be removed for things like animated pieces, super simple chibis, etc.
- The stripes on his body are random.
- The stripes on his tail can be simplified. He is usually drawn with three white stripes on his tail, but this is not mandatory.
- He has a short, dark brown beard.
- He has two piercings in each ear.

Roger and Eva share a classic rivals-to-lovers arc. When the two first met, they had their fair share of frequent yet generally playful arguments. Their friendship would eventually blossom into romance by the end of their adventure together.
Roger and Elliot struggled to get along at first - Elliot was highly suspicious of the tiger at first, and in turn, Roger would often torment and tease the dog. However, the two grew closer with each other over the course of their adventure, and eventually became good friends despite their differences.
Xanded was gifted to Roger by his father as a child, but he has always viewed the parrot as a partner in crime rather than just a pet. The two are extremely close, and Xander is one of the few individuals that Roger is able to be emotionally vulnerable with.
Roger has a complex relationship with his father, Nikolai. The two were very close when Roger was young, but as he grew older his father became distant, and even pressured him into perusing a life of crime. Roger loves his father deep down, and wishes he could reconcile with him.
Roger never would have pictured himself as a father, but despite this he makes a great parent to his adoptive daughter, Riley. The two love playing together, and their games often get highly competitive as both animals are incredibly driven.
