The first overseer of the afterlife and the first holder of the caduceus. Before that, he was the Desert and worked together with his brother, Rochus the Garden, in the advancement of human agriculture. Plants wilt or become diseased if Ambrus touches them; his very presence could kill his brother's entire garden.

Ambrus is responsible for repurposing the afterlife as a backup source of energy for the entire aether, which will automatically take over in the event there is a second Stagnation and the flow of energy between the physical plane and aether is interrupted. This involved working closely with the Twelve Olympians. He was involved in some kind of political controversy during this time.

After the afterlife was stabilized and functioning properly, he vanished. Everyone has a different assumption as to what happened to him.

PERSONALITY

Formal speaker, but not a very good public speaker, so he usually has someone else speak for him. He is a homebody and does not like to leave the afterlife. Timid in public, but opens up around friends. Has somewhat conservative ideals and rejects the functions of the Record House. His self-esteem and sense of self-worth are extremely low.

Is more concerned about how often he touches other people/things than if those things touch him. He tries to put as much clothing as possible between himself and others.

Good with numbers; is more skilled with the abacus than most of his peers.

Eating gives him an upset stomach. His stomach can no longer digest food properly due to some incident in his past. Water is fine.
