The Oneiroi Archives
Artwork related to The Oneiroi Archives, a personal project of mine. The Oneiroi Archives is a story about “gods,” a group of entities that live in the aether, whose existence depends on manipulating the actions of humans to maintain a constant level of stress.
OA documents the gods’ struggle with cooperation, personal relationships and neurosis. It also contains a little bit of talk about historical Los Angeles and hydropolitics. Themes include obsession, alienation, repeating history, the dichotomy of life before/after trauma and attaining personal happiness. Multiple characters are either allegories for or directly represent my trans experience.

OA takes place in the new city of the gods, Mount Caerus, within the aether, a plane of existence beyond physical reality. Mount Olympus is now Old Olympus; 300+ years previously, a mysterious phenomenon called the Stagnation swallowed much of the city and all of the Twelve Olympians except for Rhonwen, the Athena.
The Oneiroi Archives is the main book and is divided into three parts, each featuring a different POV.
The Speaker Archives is a novella about the events of The Oneiroi Archives as viewed from Sándor's perspective. This is my current project and I will start TOA afterward.
