Randy was formerly a crook who'd often vandalize property or get into fights (sometimes involving knives). He grew up always feeling like an outcast, with his only friend being Indigo, who also went on a life of petty crimes for a while. This behavior primarily stemmed from his early childhood years as he was constantly bullied. Later in his high school life, he was going through a phase of questioning his sexual and gender identity. This would lead to him becoming a trans male later in his life. This unfortunately lead to even more bullying by his peers, making him lash out even more. All of this cumulating in him being expelled from school.

His father was also quite abusive when he was transitioning, especially after he got expelled, and eventually leading to him being kicked out of the house. Over time, Randy would resort more to his life of crime and selling/doing drugs. Eventually leading to him needing to go into rehab (at request of his best friend, Indigo, who also had been rehabilitated) after almost OD'ing on some drugs, and has thankfully made a recovery.

Randy has managed to keep in touch with Indigo, alongside many new friends, such as Kenji. Indigo and Kenji are his closest friends, as well as a psychologist trainne, Tobias, who assisted in his recovery and is now also in a relationship with not long after he was helped. He's made really good progress and has become a much better person, really finding the value in keeping his friends close and treating them as a new family.
