APPEARANCE

Gray has a casual sense of style, often consisted of sweaters, button-ups, sometimes both, jeans... pretty much what the average civilian could look like. He has green eyes and his hair is a light gingerish, which makes his eyebrows seem lighter. His facial hair (not present in Pre-Mortem Gray) has ginger tones as well, but has and can have darkish tones. His face is usually contented and transmits a friendly impression, you could even say welcomig towards others.

During work hours he wears a navy work overall, and sometimes a red cap on his head. This look is also usually accompanied by work material such as his toolbox, tool belt, etc. A messier look in general.

TRIVIA AND NOTES

• He's missing the ring finger on his right hand due to a plumbing accident
• He has two noticeable scars on his torso: one vertical incision on his chest (heart incision), and a second long vertical scar on his belly (starting just bellow of his sternum to his apendix). One starts almost where the other ends, so it would almost look like it was a long single scar from up to the chest to the bottom of his belly.
• Gray is a fairly sensitive person. He's naturally an emotions person and very reactive, meaning that he may cry more often or easily on occasions that would expect a person to cry in. He's a very empathic and comprehensive person, he knows how to listen and he will also feel it, meaning he could even cry along with someones' noticeable suffering if they got to explain a bit of the problem. Without mentioning scary situations or even without mentioning he may be a little of a scaredy-cat, you could imagine he wouldn't be a very big fan of horror movies.
• His legal name on legal documents appears as: "Gray" Gregory Marie Allard. Non of these names are used on his day by day, and technically"Gray" is his real name as it has been always used on him by everyone.
• He has a peculiar ''fear'' towards doctors. This was already present as a child, often noticeable on his nervousness and shyness by then, quite usual in kids. But this seems to have stayed with him as an adult, even if he does his best to keep it under control with his usual positivity method. In places like this, he would feel intimidated. And despite wanting to play nice guy by showing himself friendly as he usually is with anyone else, he still gives physical clues of uneasiness as he's inevitably expressive since the day he was born.
• Gray enjoys the feel of homemade. Nothing like picking up again on that one cookie receipt his mother used to do to revive the sensation of home, or that one certain desert, or crafts. But Gray will be using this as well in health matters, such as homemade remedies for illness or pains only to try to avoid doctors' visits whenever it is possible.
• He's a paternal man, a fatherly side. He'd do a very good job at handling kids, and the kids would like him back. A dad figure even. Sadly, in past relationships or in the aspect of trying to find a partner, he has come off as ''too soft'' or ''not man enough'' for their preferences. But he'd be a very great parent.
• He's quite naive towards sex hints. He never really expects anyone to approach him directly with such intentions, as it's not a common thing to happen to him (it does not mean he's asexual).
• Plays the guitar. He first learned to play it while he was in high school and stopped playing after finishing high school as the studies for the plumbing degrees would keep him too busy. Now with everything finished, he occasionally picks the guitar up again (the same he ever had, which he had saved all this time dearly) and plays it. Even if he got a little rusty.
• Both of his parents are still alive and living in the same place of England Gray was raised in. A little group of old-school friends of his still remains in England as well.
• The sensitive trait was noticeable amongst pears at a young age as he was less of a fighter or trouble maker, and for the fact of being a man he has been called a ''cry baby'' for a nickname during his early scholar years. As years passed by, the trait still got preserved. His old school friends may joke about this but with the knowledge that it's just the way he is and there's nothing bad to it, just his particular trait.

PERSONALITY

In a generalised view, Gray is a simple man. Gray is by nature friendly, cheery, optimistic, empathic and,,, quite of a sensitive person. Gray enjoys socialising and showing kindness to people. He'll always be disposed to help and feels greatly comforted and fulfilled by making someone's day better, one of the many benefits his beloved job provides him. Gray's nature is that one of a nice guy, harmless. No matter how bad or crushing the experience he faces is, his essence will always remain intact deep inside on his core until the end. Even if it's "hidden" in Post-Mortem, where his personality suffers a change due to what he experiencied and seem more broken and less lively, he's still that one nice man he used to be deep inside.

He usually tends to show happines and a positive attitude most of the time. He feels very content with what his life is at the moment and all he's acomplished on the day (even if little), and being able to handle it all positively makes him even happier, a loop of happines which he tries to mantain.

He's a sensitive person. He's always been sensitive, since a child. He feels things with more emotion, which makes him a more reactive person, responsive to the sligtest thing. You'll always get a little reaction out of him when telling something, saying something, sharing something, etc as he feels everything at a different level. He's aware it's his nature and doesn't gives it a lot of thought nor completely hide the urge when it happens, and even if he tried, he's inevitably expressive. Both physically and emotionally. It would still be noticeable in his body language, facial expressions or tone.

RELATIONSHIPS

Dr. Trousers

Doctor turned nemesis. Due to a plumbing incident, Gray is taken by his clients to the nearest center that could offer immediate medical assistance, Dr.Trousers's Clinic. He there, in an emergency state, is introduced to Dr.Trousers for the first time. Despite not being very fond of doctors but for the sake of health, he is ordered by Trousers to come back for appointments where the doctor would take advantage to manipulate and gaslight him. After this, Trousers eventually decides to torture and kill him, which for Gray's luck failed. Gray does not get to consider Trousers a proper friend at any moment as his fear of doctors and Trousers' peculiar behaviours still kept him a little uneasy generally, after Post-Mortem this does not improve any less.

Adam Clarges

A client turned friend. Adam is one of the clients from the garbage disposal incident, who's shown himself friendly and caring towards Gray since the very beginning. Adam felt guilty and showed concern about Gray's health status after the accident. For this, he gave him his number, which Gray would use more in advance to contact Adam in Post-Mortem after his disappearance (caused by Trousers' plan to kill Gray) in a call for help. Eventually, Adam reunites with Gray, where they would team up to gather evidence against Trousers in an attempt to stop him definitely. And to achieve revenge.

Jean V. Duka

Jean, along with his husband Adam, is the one whose phone call Gray received to schedule the fatal appointment to fix their garbage disposal. Out of a little distraction, Jean accidentally triggered the garbage disposal to function while Gray's finger was inside, eventually causing its loss due to the severity of the injury. After this, he still offered a quick search for immediate assistance in whichever medical clinic appeared first (Dr.Trousers Clinic). Further into the story, Jean joins Gray's side in Post-Trousers on the search to obtain revenge from the doctor.
