Francesca, it/she pronouns, ~90ish years old (human equivalent: late 20's)
she spends most of her time as a messenger traveling between areas of business for the large family it and its brother gus belong to. Chessa has been friends with JJ and Samhain ever since they were all very young, and is privy to the ongoings of the museum and its inhabitants. Amaiyah trusts Chessa strongly, knowing that JJ trusts Chessa with aer life. on more than a few occasions, she's been able to provide helpful (and discrete) resources for projects, materials, and some luxury goods.
like Gus, Chessa is also a vampire! she doesn't gain the full nutrition she needs from food and sunlight alone, and has a few people to turn to for help (often in the form of magic-imbued foods). it seems to run in the family, although most other siblings are adopted, and don't seem to have this same affliction. this doesn't cause too much trouble unless he goes too long without a boost.
Chessa can be loud, sly, sneaky, hushed, impulsive, finicky, determined, and calculative, all depending on what it finds fits the situation at hand. one thing, though, that never seems to waver is the keen glint in her eye watching everything - and everyone - around her. this makes her a rather good informant.
her magic seems to be in tune with weather, but only in the sense that it knows when the skies will rain. it still hasn't narrowed the practice down of bringing on storms. this isn't for lack of trying so much as the way that its magic seems to deplete more easily... and on comes the hunger.
