Marion has a bigger than life personality. She's out living as much life as she can, but she often comes home to hang out with her boys and visit her family. She is a freelance photographer and has quite the portfolio of stunning shots.
Marion is also feircely proud of her place in the LGBTQ+ community. She often photographs Pride events and talks to Trans kids about her experiences as a trans woman.
Marion is just as down to fight as Matt is. She particularly likes to get into fights with men who treat women badly.
Marion likes women of all shapes and sizes. She just has trouble keeping a long term relationship. She doesn't know if that's because she is bad at communicating or if maybe she's just not the romantic type.
Magic Flash: Marion has magic right at her fingertips. She can do just about anything with her magic and likes to show off to those who know about magic.
Built Sturdy: Marion doesn't look it, but she is a very sturdy person. It is very hard to knock her off her feet, even when she's wearing heels. She also hits fairly hard thanks to this build. She looks strong but she is stronger than she looks.
Dimensional Slide: Marion does not need to use any form of transportation if she doesn't want to. She is able to use her magic to step to the side and appear where she wants to be. It has made it fairly easy for her to get amazing shots from places that are very dificult to get to, thus making demand for her photography high.
Marion spends a lot of her time away from home photographing things. She is a mangetic personality that draws attention to her. She is quick to smile and quick to laugh. Marion is the life of a party just about any time she's around. Her bright blue eyes draw everyone in and it's fairly easy for people to fall in love with her.
Marion
Marion is Lance's fraternal twin. The two of them are super close and she would kill for her brother at the drop of a hat. She races home any time he calls her for something. She and Lance have no secrets between them and often talk daily. She cares deeply for him.
Marion is gregarious, charming, and quite easy to like. She often flirts openly with women and will do so especially if a guy is being a dick to them. On more than one occassion she has been the catalyst to a break up between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Usually angry boyfriends will then turn on her but end up on the receiving end of Marion's fist and her smug smirk. Nothing pisses her off more than abusive partners.
Marion is not nearly as openly kind as her brother. She is more gaurded with her kindness. That doesn't mean that she wouldn't help someone in need if she came across them, but she doesn't actively offer help.
Marion's temper is explosive. She is very quick to throw hands and is quite scrappy. She doesn't care if someone is bigger than her, because the little lady knows no fear. She has lost a few fights but she has definitely won more.
Marion is a lesbian who is looking for those pretty, pretty ladies. Well, she's not exactly picky, she likes pretty ladies, butch ladies, trans ladies, just all the ladies. She happily will flirt with any girl that is willing to flirt back. There hasn't been a lady that has her looking to settle down yet, but maybe.
Just like Lance, Marion is OBVIOUSLY magic. She may not be as glittery as he is, but she is just as magical.
The Starling Family
Marion does not talk about her family during her travels. She keeps a family photo as her lock screen on her phone and does call her family regularly but she doesn't tell anyone anything about her life at home unless she has been around them for longer than two or three months. She is very gaurded about her family and life.
Marion loves her family a lot though. She talks to Alex and River almost weekly and buys her little brothers gifts on her travels. She also buys gifts for Lance and Matthew often.
Marion's parents are two very interesting beings. Her mother, Galaxia "Alex" Starling, is a Great Hunger. Great Hungers are Eldritch creatures of varrying sizes and Alex is a Great Hunger on a cosmic scale. She is a Galaxy Eater who had been summon to Earth via a cult's summoning. That summoning was what brought her to be where she is now.
Her father, River Starling, is a Bookworm. Bookworms are a type of Fae who consume knowledge. River was being used as the sacrific of the summoning that brough Alex to Earth. River's fae form is similar to a death-head moth, which drew cults to using him for summonings. The first time it happened, Alex was summoned. Alex being River's soulmate.
The two spent centuries together before settling into Serenity Springs to start a family. This is where Marion and her siblings were born. Marion and her twin, Lance, are sixteen years older than their triplet brothers; Hunter, Fisher, and Thatcher.
Travels
Currently, Marion travels eight months out of the year. She is trying to get photographs of sunrises and sunsets in every country on every contentent. She also takes pictures at all sorts of events all over the world. A lot of her travels are solo, but sometimes she travels with people that she's met along the way.
Marion loves traveling. She immerses herself into the cultures and just sort of disappears into the place that she's visiting. She can speak so many different languages and loves learning new languages and recipies. She makes a big deal about cooking new things for her family when she comes home.
- Like Lance, her eyes are opalescent, however she doesn't have to wears sun glasses.
- Marion has given everyone in her life that she loves something she made with trans colors.
- Marion is deceptively strong. She also has a hell of a right hook.
- Marion usually wears bright, bright colors.
- Marion goes to pride in a different city every year. She photographs those events.
- Lance and Matthew are her best friends and she would do anything for them.
Matthew Salano • Best Friend
Marion and Matthew have been friends since before they started school. They are very close and dated breifly in high school just after Marion came out as trans. They both decided that they were better as friends. They remain very good friends.
Lance Starling • Twin Brother.
Lance is Marion's twin. He and she are best friends and would do anything for one another. Marion makes sure to call Lance every day, even when she has to climb trees to get satalite service.
Galaxia "Alex" Starling • Mother
Alex is Marion's large, loud, and loving mother. Marion adores her mother and tries to imulate her.
River Starling • Father
River is Marion's dad. Marion loves her dad and is constantly bringing him things from her trips from around the world.
