Fern's modus operandi in life is research; specifically research focused on plants and their respective properties. As a result of her devotion to science, she has a vast knowledge of exotic flora from all around the world, but even with this fact taken into consideration, she still tends to get lost in her research with concerning ease.

While she respects that others might not have the same level of interest in biology as she does, she would still prefer not to be disturbed if she's working on something, whether it be related to the competition at hand or any other little hobby project she may be doing. She can be brought to a state of tranquil disdain towards an offender if they actively attempt to interrupt what she does.. We won't say any more.
