Exorcisms for Beginners
Clarissa Dunst | Jitendra "Joseph" Prasad
A spooky adventure of ghosts, retail, and rekindled friendships.

Clarissa Dunst, owner of the Video Nine movie rental store, has a problem. Well, actually, she has quite a few problems; no social life, no customers, no staff, no money, a rapidly approaching mid-life crisis, and a terrible crick in her neck she can't seem to get rid of.

But her main problem? Her bathtub. It's been leaking blood for a few years now, not to mention eating plumbers and spitting out murderous ghosts that she's fairly certain didn't die on her property. Since she can't afford to move, she's found ways to manage; nailing furniture down, performing exorcism rituals in the dead of night, and never letting any customer go unsupervised. It's not easy. The wailing of the dead doesn't give her many chances to sleep. But she manages.

At least, until Joseph shows up.

He's Clarissa's oldest college friend and wants to know why she's been dodging his emails lately. He's back in the country, excited to hang out, and seemingly unaware of all the floating objects in her apartment that are trying to kill him.

She can't get rid of him. She doesn't want to, really, but the alternative is letting him get caught up in her mess.

Clarissa should hurry up and make up her mind before the ghosts do it for her.

Buy-R-Die
Shop Thompson | Ingrid Zheng
An absurd "horror" visual novel in the vein of bad b-movies.

It's 11pm on an October night, and Shop Thompson has just remembered they have a party to cater for. Luckily for them, the old Buyer's Direct grocery store is still open. It seems to be experiencing a major power outage right now, but there's a sign on the door declaring it to be open, and staff inside don't seem too bothered by the lack of lights. The cashier pays them little mind as they go about their shopping...

...And then a gorilla in a diving helmet busts out of the freezer and tries to kill both of them.

What should have been a routine shopping trip quickly turns to... well, not terror, exactly. This is still a gorilla we're talking about. But it's certainly chaos, and the duo are forced take shelter in the staff room. But with the phone lines down and the fire escape mysteriously blocked, their options are limited. They need to find a way to kill this thing - before it breaks through their barricade and rips them apart limb-by-limb.

They can work out why this is happening some other time.

An Evening at the Rabbiteye Motel
Bee | Ingrid Zheng | Finch Meggins | Hannah Do'erty | Jack Haas | ???
A home invasion text adventure of strained family and childhood fears.

Bee tries to be a good girl. She doesn't talk back. She doesn't ask questions. She does as she's told, and does all her homework, and stays in her room as much as possible.

But she must have done something wrong. Because now everyone is telling her she has a sister -- which can't be true, because they've never met before, and anyway Ingrid is way older than her. Regardless, her 'sister' wants to take her away from home for a few days.

Bee doesn't much like that. But Bee does not talk back. Bee does not ask questions. Bee does as she's told and gets in the car. And when they stop at a motel for the night, and Ingrid leaves her all alone, Bee does not run away.

She does not answer the phone.

She does not open the door.

And she does not scream when someone tries to break in...

Camera, Bunker, Bat
Annabelle Merlo | Isadora Voclain | Duncan Durant
A slasher/survival horror RPG with monsters, mad science, and high academic expectations.

Students have been disappearing from St. Helena's Boarding School. Despite the near-persistent tragedies the school is seeped in, the staff insist its nothing unusual; a failed class here, a bout of bullying there. Mundane stressors causing children to crack under pressure and run off into the woods, never to be seen again.

Duncan Durant, however, has a far more outlandish theory: werewolves. Specifically werewolf serial killers. Ones that keep their victims in the creepy cabin in the woods just outside of campus. None of his friends are convinced -- and to be totally fair, neither is he. But after yet another student from their year level vanishes overnight, all three find themselves sneaking out to the old shack. Just to check. Just to see.

The shack is empty. Of course it is.

It's what's underneath they should be worried about.

Beat the Buzzer
Clarissa Dunst | Dylan Swisse | Randall | ...?
A found-footage style trivia game about shoving your nose where it doesn't belong.

Gameshow enthusiasts have spent decades recording, documenting, and trading VHS bootlegs of past episodes. It's a respectable way of preserving the history of the medium, even if the legality of it is questionable sometimes.

Today, one such trader has received a real gem in the mail - an original studio master of an episode of "Beat the Buzzer". An episode that never went to air. A studio that has since closed down. And wildly differing descriptions of the tape's contents.

What could go wrong?
