Ashswirl- Adoptive father. Ashswirl helped Northwind's mother (Nightsong) raise Northwind when his biological father died when Northwind was a kit. Later Ashswirl and Nightsong did get together formally as mates and had their own litter together. He sees Ashswirl as his father and deeply loves him.
