Bark

Bark is a messy-furred, tabby brown tom with dull yellow eyes, floppy ears, and a short tail.

Bark is rather boring and monotonous, made even worse by being a rule stickler. he often preaches following the rules and doing one's best for the colony, irritating others. However, he serves the colony dutifully.

Bark is a scout for marsh colony, alongside his brother Dog. He tries to keep a sense of order in the colony, but secretly, things are falling apart at the seams.

He fell in love with an outsider cat, however he couldn't leave to be with her, due to pressure from Running Hare and to be the best and be leader someday. Bark lived a double life, often tired from keeping up his duties and being with his mate. Tragically, when his mate gave birth, he wasn't around, and while she was vulnerable, a bobcat attacked, killing her and the kittens.

However, Hound survived. hidden. Bark found the sole survivor, and took care of him. However, he could not bring Hound to his colony. He also was afraid to go to any of the other colonies, for fear of word getting out, afraid of the wrath of his mother, having been young when Red Flower was kicked out. So he did the only option he could, he went to the strays. Fortunately, one of the mollies there was nursing, so Hound could survive off her. Since then he lives a double life still, taking care of Hound and his colony.
