Ryo Saitou in his own words is a man without a soul. He is cold and calculating, moving as carefully as possible towards his objective.  Despite how cold and calculating he may be, he does have quite a temper, though this or more of a quiet anger than a full out berserker rage.

He's well spoken and eloquent, though one can still feel the anger and malice behind his words even if his tone is even. There is very little outside his expectations, he carefully observes his targets waiting until the most opportune moment to strike. Earning his ire is a death sentence.

Though he's as cold as a machine, he still sticks to a loose code of honor. There is very little he won't do to reach his objectives. Taking advantage of the system is as easy as can be. He draws the line at killing his targets. That being said, he only cares about his personal stakes in his mission, if his targets just so happen to die as an indirect result of his actions then so be it; he simply does not wish to take the light out of someone's eyes with his own hands.

In battle he's not above jumping in the fray himself, though he can get close to losing his cool depending on the situation (he's quick to gather himself when he gets breathing room).

Ryo Saitou is someone you want to remain on good terms with, though if you're a maestro or resonator it's already too late for that.
