Brioche

"The average firbolg was stronger than a forest bear. Beyond sheer physical strength, they had innate magical abilities. Firbolgs were said to be resistant to magic. They could sense the presence of magical auras innately. They also had the power to change their physical appearance, including making themselves larger or smaller. They sometimes used this magical power to blend in or interact with smaller races.^"

"They had excellent vision at night and could perhaps see in the dark. Some sages claimed that firbolgs had regenerative abilities. Other sages reported that firbolgs could make themselves turn invisible! They were also said to be able to communicate to a limited effect with both plants and animals of their forest homes.^"

Brioche comes from a wealthy family heritage originating in [...]. after many decades their line has opted to settle down and live a more modest life among firblog like themselves. he currently resides in a little village in [...], living with his mother and father. His father had chosen to make the move across the region, wanting his son and family to experience a more traditional upbringing. So with the money his father had inherited from their family name, he builds a storage shed, wanting a place to store all the books and scriptures he had brought with him. Most books there are written by brioche's long gone ancestors. Their family tree consisted of bakers, known scholars, bards, fishers, fighters and magic users. So there's a little bit of information on everything (which makes sense as clerics are very versatile! and you bet Brioche read most, if not all those books he could have accessed) . eventually this private family library becomes public to their village, where books can be borrowed and brought back and new books can be donated by travelers from afar.

Brioche's always been the pride of their family, well how couldn't he? He's their only child. He's always been a homebody, opting to staying indoors to read and study, making it a mission to read if not most then all books their library contained (he did achieve this eventually) Him being homeschooled gave him even less of a reason to go outside. He "much more preferred being taught by his father and mother than being taught by some random stranger," as he'd state it. He never had friends to speak to, his social awkwardness warding possible ones off. That's until Monet came along and gave him the time of day.

TRIVIA

• Brioche speaks Common, Elvish, Giant and Gnomish.
• He has both low light and dark vison, hence why his eyes are white at the centers, kinda freaks people out (to which he argues that it's probably the most normal thing as compared to what's out there.)
• Very picky about climate and sensitive to the change in temperature (environmental changes really). Catch him complaining about the small heat spike no one else can feel.
• Tends to roll his consonants when speaking. It's just a thing he picked up when growing up.
•  He often takes jokes too literally, causing him to make uncalled for comments which kill the mood for the most part.
• Reading is his favorite thing to do during his free time, a hobby he's carried and held on to since childhood which has gotten him quite far in life this far. He knows just about everything and anything, your personal encyclopedia for your travels if you may.
