BIO

Darrell is that one guy you'd see in high school movies where the guy is so endearingly pathetic, you can't help but feel a bit sorry for him. His problem is that he tends to cover this up by putting up a (badly-made high-school-movie-greaser) egotistical status, which can easily falter in many situations. His reason for this is that he tries to be charming, but ends up coming off as a jerkass, putting himself on some people's bad sides. Also he can't lie to save his life.

Vi is deeply insecure and tries to cover this up with amicability. While vi is emotional, vi still has a harder time actually opening up about vis negative emotions through words rather through tears, especially because vi doesn't want to burden others with vis troubles. Vis comfort items are vis watch and vis shades, since Darrell's shades make vir feel more confident about virself, so vi's rarely seen without them, minus the usual situations where vi can't wear them (i.e. swimming, showering, sleeping). Vi still tried.

When he's given positive feedback, he gets just a little stimmy. Just a little (lie). However, this leads him to cling to those and become loyal to a fault, leading him to be prone to manipulation. He tends to do his best to achieve what he believes is that person's expectations, which ends up upsetting him when he believes he's failed. He's honestly like a puppy dog with those he likes. When he's allowed to open his shell, Darrell is literally the sweetest person you could ever know. He wants to make others happy, even if it ends up hurting him. Darrell is trying to get better and is even going to therapy for his problems, however!

Darrell's reputation in Tabbykat's.... well. It Is Something! Being 1.) Chazz's BFF and 2.) accidentally acting like a sleezeball sure shapes an opinion.

APPEARANCE

Darrell has darkish brown skin, brown eyes with small eyelashes, and dark brown hair that he tends to wear in a ponytail. He also has a bit of scruff. His body type leans on lanky, but his arms are pretty buff from having to make a lot of food deliveries. His ears are pierced. with brass studs. Darrell wears the same pair of shades and a plain watch.

Darrell's usual attire consists of... bad boy adjacent wear. This man wears fucking leather jackets in hot weather. Vis closet is somewhat plain, but vi'll occasionally borrow some shirts from Chazz, although they are a bit big on vim. If offered, Darrell would also wear more colorful attire... like Hawaiian shirts. Vi has like. One good suit there for special occasions.  For pajamas, Darrell usually wears a big-ass shirt and boxers. Darrell's usual shoes are a pair of bright red sneakers that vi constantly wears, even if they're wearing out.

Darrell doesn't deviate too much from his work outfit, aside from cuffing his pants, but that's all.
