History

Cranker rolled out of the factory with the goal of being the best engine ever, playing it cool and acting like he knew what he was doing. The charade didn't last for long, since he derailed on his very first trip. He had to be rescued by Dolan and reassured by his coaches that hey, it happens to everybody. He re-encountered Dolan a few weeks later, when the crane's boom car, Jerrie, roped Cranker into pulling them to another derailed train. Cranker fell head-over-wheels for Dolan after he thanked him and called him a darling for his help.

Since then, Cranker's been trying to make up for the embarassement of his disastrous first outing, and trying to catch Dolan's atention - bu not too much, since even talking to Dolan makes him want to run away and/or explode. His engine just might overheat one of these days!

• Freckle under left eye
• Barrettes in bangs + three piercings in each ear
• Jacket collar, belt, and gloves heavily studded

Incorporates Amtrak color scheme but does not have logo. Shape of jacket opening cannot be changed. Real-life counterpart is a GE Genesis P42 engine.

The laid-back railroad crane that Cranker has a huge crush on. Is Dolan actually flirting with him, or is that just his natural personality?

Cranker's passenger car. He's the closest to her and she acts like his big sister, teasing him relentlessly.

Bonnie

Cranker's dining car. She's very motherly and slightly overprotective, and is consantly trying to get him to eat her cooking.

Prudence

Cranker's sleeping car. Zy's usually asleep, so he doesn't know zym that well. He usually keeps an eye out and makes sure zy doesn't hurt zyrself while sleepwalking.

Jenny

Cranker's baggage car. She's kinda mean to him, but only because she cares. Gives good advice and tries to stop him from doing stupid things.
