♡ Personality - Being mute and only really having his eyes to express himself, it's hard to tell his exact personality... He at least seems to be quite humble, albeit a lot more withdrawn after his time spent in Charybdis.
♡ Appearance - He's a natural Salmonling (explained more here) forcibly spliced with a Sea Anemone by Scylla in Charybdis Lab. His salmonling half, which was left untouched, is red-tinted by his diet of Krill and Crabs while the anemone tendrils, which are attached just behind his head, are naturally pink and yellow. There's a yellow tag attached to his lower fin with a subject number on it.
♡ Background - Born to a humble Cohock-Chum couple from out in the farmlands, they were quite surprised to see him grow into a natural born Salmonling. Believing he deserved better, they went through several trades with others before eventually managing to secure him a home in Inkopolis, sending him off while he was barely older than a Smallfry. Shrimp (the name he got from his parents) became well-off and well-known for his unique shape; which he certainly was thankful for, especially with his simple upbringing meaning he had to start with nothing. All was well and good for the Salmonling!
...Mostly.
He didn't like staying still, occasionally traveling to the edges of salmonid territory whenever he couldn't handle it, only to one day come upon an Inkling. It was love at first sight... Being quite aware of what some inklings thought of Salmonids, however, he knew he couldn't approach her as he currently looked. Anyone whose seen "The Little Mermaid" can likely imagine what happened next when Charybdis Lab became involved. He currently lives in a Salmonling community after being freed from the lab, too ashamed to return to his friends in Inkopolis or his parents.
- His most recent name before being taken by Scylla was Shrimp. With the changes to his body came a new smell, leaving him too unrecognizable to keep his name.
- He tends to walk everywhere, his odd "head" leaving him a bit too unbalanced for other forms of transport.
- The tendrils on his head may wrap around anything that lands in them, eating anything edible.
- No longer has a sense of smell
- Smallfry call him "Grabby" as a nickname.
- Has a semi-permanent smell of cleaning fluids that he hates when others point it out
- Can vaguely swim, but it's difficult next to most regular Salmonids' experiences. Swims best underwater
- Other Sea Aneome's fish (or even just random fish) may sometimes get themselves lost in his tendrils because he doesn't have his own! He always tries to return them to their owners despite being unable to communicate.
- Likes to hang out with Glaucus (the fish) over them both having voice problems. He gets it.
