PERSONALITY
A colourful tidetouch guide, yet on the surface Agar-agar seems like a carefree guide who just does not care about anything but herself. She seems stuck in her own world and prefers her lone free time over anything else. Her family are all well knowledgable and she is too, but she cares not of the vast information of sea life and science and prefers the fun facts she learns about pirates from her movies.
It surprised others often when she drops them with her knowledge of flora and fauna to the factual science of it, but to her, it's just common knowldge within her family and it's not as intersting as pirates. A habitual liar to make herself sound more intersting than she is to strangers not from Serpent's Bluff.

BIOGRAPHY
PAST
It was said, her past life was once a caring guide who took home many wandering young guide and seekers, and thought them the vast knowledge of the seas from their adventures beyond the island. When the guide passed and returned back to the sea, one of their bonded pair of kids passed on their legacy, maintaining their science hub and kept on research and preserving the flora and fauna of the bluff.
Years later, the guide reincarnated as none other than Agar-agar. At first, she was an aimless guide, hopping onto cervablooms back, swimming with the currents. She felt like she had no purpose. But as she reached the bluff's land, she felt a familiar pull. This odd sense of home lead her to a bonded pair who was once the same pair she took after a lifetime ago.
Agar-agar did not know why they felt so familiar but stayed around the pair and their odd "children" who ran around the hub doing their vast research. Though cautious and aloof to the pair at first, she became attached and care for them as much as they cared for her. Since then, she does not wander as aimlessly alone as before as Agar-agar has a home to return to.
PRESENT
Agar-agar is one of the few field researcher of Serpernt's Bluff Flora and Fauna Conservation Center. She's tasked to go out and make sure that the critters the hub has been researching on are well and healthy. Though she hates doing these "chores", she enjoys the time she gets to be alone and reenact her favourite scenes from Pirates of Serpent's Bluff to whatever critter she was tasked to look after that day.
When she's not helping out the hub, Agar-Agar is out for chaos and winning that Serpern't Bluff surfing championship. Well, the championship isn't actually real, that's just her dream, but she likes to think she'd be killer at the waves if there was one. Other than that, she's snooping around the port, trying to catch any pirates that'd come to rest or trade with the locals.
Lately she's been bugging this guide who says he's a pirate (but he doesn't even dress properly like her movie pirates) and she's helping him out with finding some kind of treasure. He won't say much about it but she do like exploring. She's also been bothered by a newborn Baraboa, so now her research duties has been doubled.

SODAPOP Pen Pal
Wacky pen pal who's just as bright and colourful as she is but has a morbid curiousity and interest. Though Agar-Agar is sorta terrified of her, she won't lie that this friend of hers is interesting and cool enough for her book.
GITA Cousin
The bonded pair's guide is not native to Serpent's Bluff and came from the mainland, so it's natural that these 2 are related. She finds Gita wayyy cooler than her current siblings since they're all nerds and Gita's part of a band. She's also the only cousin allowed to call her Jell-O.

TRIVIA
- Has been told that her tail looks very delicious like some kind of gummy candy. She will stab anyone with a fork if they said it to her face tho.
- Likes piercings and wants to get her wings and tail pierced more, but she likes being able to swim easy too much so she's settling for just one neat hook.
- Has very sharp teeth, similar to a shark. It's why she likes to grin often. Is it a threat or a friendly smile? That's another question.
- Her favourite pirate movies are Better Ban and Pirates of Serpent's Bluff. Any other pirate movies are ehhh at best.
- Has a messy doctor's handwriting. Also a terrible artist but drawing and proper journaling is needed for her research duties and it's another reason why she hates doing her chores.
