About Ine

When looking at her, if you ignore the horns naturally, it would be hard to tell that Ine is anything but a young, naive, adorable young girl. And she is – adorable, that is. And one of the kindest people you will ever met on her side of Aeyuu.

But Ine is also one of the most dangerous creatures on the face of the world: a Denumbra. Or, as the Grey Ones would call her and her kin: a Child of the Dead Goddess.

Little does she care what she is called however, or what she is viewed as – and, in her case, lies lie in the eyes of the beholder, for Ine feeds on desire. All who encounter her see but what they wish to see. When desire burns too strong, Ine gives into her pulsions. No one ever remains to tell the tale of the shapeshifting girl.

No one remains to scold her for her weakness, either.

Ine’s personality shifted a few centuries ago, when her brother Zool – the Grim Reaper, or Death, as Humans called him – suddenly disappeared. Joviality turned to concern, kindness to a cold determination. She sensed the world fracturing in his absence, a little more with each passing breath.

And she is the only one who cares. The only one who would seek the world’s survival over its destruction

So Ine set off to find her missing brother… but not at any cost.

Zool [ like a brother ]

Denumbra are a family - or so Ine views her siblings, born from the remains of the same Dead Goddess as she. However, Zool holds a special place in her makeshift heart, as he is the first Denumbra she ever met, and the first she connected with.

Trivia

• Though she existed back in the end-days of the roleplay, Ine was nothing more then than one amid a collection. She was transferred over without a name, only referred to as 'Demoness'.
• The term Denumbra came to be along with some of Aeyuu's history. Though not the term used on Ine's original continent, she took it over once she settled on the continent of Aun, where most action happens.
• Speaking of words: Ine can't remember her own name. It never mattered to her much. However, the name Karige she will forever remember, and it will always instill fear and anguish in her makeshift heart.
• More than anything however, Ine loves love. And with her ability to appear as whomever a person desires most, she has discovered how empowering sex is. ... until she eats her mate, that is. Whoops.
• It's funny how she was a tertiary character for a very long time. In fact, quite like she can't remember much of her own life, I can't remember when she evolved from tertiary to MC.
• Maybe it was around the time I wrote a cross-over fic with her and Fates' Tod. Glorious day.
