Bio: 

Kris is the youngest son of a noble family, important enough to be recognizable but far enough down in the line to the throne that he doesn't hold any real power. Growing up, Kris always felt left behind by his high-achieving siblings that were inevitably destined for greater things than him because they were born first, so he turned to rebellion to set himself apart. Kris became known for petty pranks and learning all he could about 'taboo' subjects for a noble, like the occult and the local underground market. However, as he became a young adult, Kris realized that he didn't really want to be bad, rather, he just didn't want to end up as another dead-end noble getting drunk at fancy parties and waiting for his siblings to die off so he had a chance at the throne. Empowered, Kris sent out to be an adventurer and hero outside of the confines of his family home, venturing into the 'real world'.

Unfortunately, 'hero' isn't exactly a career that you can just throw down a job application for. Kris's incredibly vague plan was further complicated by the fact that he was known practically nationwide as 'that rich annoying asshole', and that almost all of his knowledge consisted of occult legends and buying drugs on the black market. Not dissuaded, Kris used his connections to find the vampire hunter/exorcist Kaiser. Given Kris's extremely specific knowledge base, it seemed like a good place to start since it was at least sort of within his area of expertise. Kaiser was, well, not exactly overjoyed to have a random guy show up demanding to be his apprentice, but Kris had money and Kaiser wasn't going to say no to a guy literally paying him to be his employee/sidekick. The two don't exactly get along swimmingly, and honestly, Kaiser probably would have kicked Kris out by now if he didn't get along so well with Chess, Kaiser's roommate/"rescue case" who has few other friends.

Fun Facts:

• Kris has really long, fluffy fur year-round, but trims it during the warmer months so he can actually go outside without passing out from heatstroke.
• Kris really enjoys formulaic, predictable movies with happy endings. He can be really annoying to watch any sort of movie with plot twists because he'll just get angry about things not happening like they're 'supposed' to happen.
• Kris is extremely afraid of the dark.
