Impulsive - Brave - Caring - Bold - Awkward - Sarcastic - Sassy - Appreciative

Many would describe Lune as 'reckless'. His impulsive behavior has caused the boy a lot of trouble, and he sometimes seems to forget that he is not immortal. Or that some of his bold moves or comments are not always welcomed. Despite his tendency to make decisions in the blink of an eye, he has a warm heart and cares deeply for others, though his sarcastic and sassy humor may tell otherwise. He becomes more awkward and shy when he suddenly becomes the center of attention, like when he has to give a presentation.

Lune grew up with his aunt after losing his parents in a avalanche. His aunt owns a cafe in a chilly, but green valley that is home to many more Skullcrackers. Lune remembers little about the incident that took his parents since he was to young to remember any of it. But ever since his aunt took him in, he's been having sleeping issues. The boy kept going outside to play in the valley full of flowers, or in the woods surrounding it. But eventually, his body became weaker due to restless sleeping, and he wasn't allowed to go outside anymore. Having no magical abilities, his aunt felt helpless and didn't know what to do. The other Skullcrackers in the valley had no more magic then she had, and were not able to offer help as well.

But, one day his aunt had made a cup of tea for Lune without giving it much thought. And after drinking it, Lune suddenly felt better then he had felt in many years. Lune picked up a strange scent coming from the tea. Lavender. Having seen the flowers plenty of times, he recognized the smell. When night fell, he sneaked out with his lantern, and picked a bunch of the herbs to make a tea from them. And again, it helped. He happily told his aunt about it, and started looking for more non magical ways to help with sleeping issues.

Lune grew a lot in the next years, and although he still needed a lot of rest, he became more active and was finally able to travel again. The impulsive Skullcracker decided on a day that he wanted to travel, see more places and different creatures, and start a life of his own. His aunt gave in (rather quick, Lune wasn't one to change his mind easily) and the boy traveled through the valley, and eventually the mountains.

But starting a life of his own didn't go well, and Lune found himself in a rather dangerous situation. A hero Mantibab named Raine saved him that day, and even offered him a job at his bakery as a delivery boy. He happily agreed and started living in a cozy house near the bakery.

Lune ended up becoming very close friends with Raine, even though Raine is away most of the time because of his heroism. But he comes to the bakery once in a while to check on the situation (and pay for the damage Dandy has made in another rage fit). Lune still managed to keep in touch with him and he considers Raine his dearest friend.

  • He is a sore loser.
  • Tells everyone he broke some Mantibab's horns, most Skullcrackers think it's a lie since there are no Mantibabs in their valley.
  • Always has messy hair, kind of a bed-head.
  • He is pretty scared of the dark, which is why he carries his lantern around when he goes out. He wouldn't admit it though. Loud, sudden noises scare the life out of him as well.
  • Probably practices martial arts, it mostly consist of ramming heads against other Skullcrackers. The hard patches on Lune's legs make him also capable of using his legs in combat.
  • Still uses all kinds of tricks to help himself sleep. He also needs more rest then most Skullcrackers his age, and he's a heavy sleeper.
  • His voice is very soothing and pleasant. Lune used to sing young kids to sleep.

Best friend

Raine

A very important person to Lune. Raine is his boss, and his best friend. Raine once saved Lune's pathetic ass, and at that time, Lune had left home to start a life of his own... Which didn't go as smoothly as planned, hence the whole life saving incident. Raine offered the Skullcracker a job as a delivery boy at a bakery he owns. Lune accepted and has been working at the bakery ever since. The boy managed to become very close with Raine and views him differently then Raine's many fans.

Friend, mom figure

Sweetheart

The sweetest, nicest and most caring creature in existence (maybe). Sweetheart always knows how to make someone feel loved, appreciated and special. This Kanti smothers Lune with sweets and lovable compliments, which often make him blush. She seems to know just what to say when someone is down or troubled, and Lune seeks her out whenever he needs a listening ear.

Scary guy at work

Dandy

A scary, big-ass Kanti with a temper like a hurricane and a death glare that puts every villain in Lune's books to shame. Dandy is as huggable as a cactus and the small Skullcracker is rightfully scared of him. The fun thing is, Dandy absolutely ADORES Skullcrackers. This makes him look at Lune all day like a child would look at a small critter and approach him regularly... And then just stand there because he has no idea what to do then. His face just doesn't send that message and to Lune it is like he wants to beat the life out of him.

Mentor/Co-worker

Zero

This Mantibab was chosen to teach Lune the finer points in being a delivery boy. He also used to be the only one doing deliveries, so it wasn't surprising that he was the one to teach Lune. The Skullcracker holds a lot of respect for Zero. The man has always been very patient while teaching Lune, and never has he seen the Mantibab angry (at least not at him, and Lune isn't planning on finding out what Zero is like angry...) Lune still practices with Zero from time to time. Zero is definitely like a mentor type, although Lune is a bit more relaxed around him now and sees him a bit more like a partner. He even has become a bit competitive towards Zero.
