Sol

Brother of Iron and only son of Murex, Sol is regarded as the biggest underdog of Sandcliff, living in the shadow of his mother, one of the most hated dragons in the colony. While he is pitied by most, very few would dare go against Murex.

Sol is an average-sized dragon, altough the thick fur makes him appear larger and stronger than he actually is.

Sol is the only offspring of Murex and was born a few months before she decided to move to the Coastian Territories. Who his father is it's unknown to him. His mother then decided to wed a colony dragon, to better integrate with the locals, that's when he became step-siblings with this dragon's only cub, Iron.

His cubhood was denoted by verbal (and sometimes physical) abuse and neglect from his mother, directed both on him and Iron, it's dunring this period that they became close, relying on each other for defense and support. He would only find peace outside his home, he enjoyed being around other cubs, but never managed to befriend anyone, except for foxglove.

After Iron was called for obbligatory military service, he began to spend most of his time with Foxglove, as she was the only one who treated him like just another dragon. In enough time they realized they had feelings for each other and became mates.

It was once thy had their first egg that Sol considered leaving the Colony and move to the Red City, where they'd be able to raise their cub in peace, especially knowing it was going to be a fire-wielder and wouldmn't have an opportunity to be trained properly in the colony. Then Foxglove was killed, seemingly for no reason and by an unknown dragon, sending him back to his misery once again.
