Weeks went by and hatching-day was getting closer and upon seeing the colony's behaviour with mutated dragons, Foxglove decided it wouldn't have been healty for her child to grow up in that environment. Sol agreed to that, as he'd been wanting to live his life away from his mother and the colony for a long time now. They spoke of this to Iron, asking if she wanted to go with them. Iron hesitated, but didn't decline, saying she would have to think about it. That same night, the New Arctic snoopers broke into their house, looking for the golden egg they had been watching carefully for weeks now. Foxglove was alone, and was quickly overpowered and mortally wounded. When Iron and Sol arrived, they were able to save the egg but it was far too late for it's mother.

Their fiery personalities matched well toghether and they became friends esily. Foxglove used to have feeling for the coastian, but desisted from it once she realized Iron didn't feel that way about anyone. Till the end of her life, they remained good friends and only Iron gave her support the day she had her egg.
