Lucia

After a strange object nearly hit him and cam (round metal orb) 
-He set out to find the source of it and where it came from
--Heavily relays on Cam because he's clueless
-Scared that it would be a potential threat to the village (Village is already in the most danger prone area)

Scared of open spaces (Grew up in a village covered by coral)
-Most scared of looking up and fears if he ever floated up he'd be snatched away and eaten by a big creature
-hand holding helps, means he's 'grounded' and won't float away

Scar
When he was little he followed after a travelling merchant, a 'friend' of his. While following him out of the safety of the village they were attacked, the merchant was fine but little Lucia took a blow, leaving a scar over his eye. Since then he's been scared to leave the village, the stories he once heard felt like fairy tales compared to the 'dangers' he experienced.

True passion
He enjoys writing, he's a classic "The pen is mightier than the sword" type of person when it comes down to it. (though that doesn't always work when it comes to creatures wanting to eat at you) At a young age, he went into training to become a guard, knowing fully well that those skills would be better than his creative writing.
