I'm having trouble getting the car icons to show up... They get automatically deleted in the code. I have no idea what's up bc I just copy/pasted the code whole. Legitimately Toyhouse deletes that chunk of the code for some reason whenever I switch back to WYSIWYG or save the layout in any capacity (even from code view). Both the top and bottom borders end up looking like this: derl0st-5893f048-2375-4ee9-a6d8-3c3fb7ed

Do you know what could be causing it?

unfortunately, WYSIWYG breaks 90% of templates and there's not a whole lot that we coders can do about it. the same things that make it intuitive and easy to use also make it incompatible with fancier styles. please keep it off the whole time you're editing any code to minimize issues (as in, hit the "disable WYSIWYG" toggle on the right, or disable it entirely in your display settings; code view is part of WYSIWYG too). if you need to preview the changes live as you make them, you can use the circlejourney editor

the html/css section of the forum has a basic tutorial and a help thread pinned, if you need more help. thanks for using the code!

I see! I didn't know that the code editor was also part of WYSIWYG. That fixed it, thank you! ^^

your problem is with your image urls and not the template:

1. the urls you put in are urls of webpages that contain images, not the images themselves. to get an image url, right click (or long press on mobile) on an image and select "copy image link" or some other similarly worded option. if an image is on your computer, you will need to upload it to the web using an image hosting service like imgur or toyhouse before you can put them into templates.

2. remember that images from google usually aren't free to use, and even if they are, you need to credit them properly as per toyhouse rules. the template has a credit section at the bottom, and you should edit the "photos from unsplash" tooltip and the url next to it to credit the source of your images instead.

also, this is a general html/css problem, not a problem with my templates in particular, so next time please ask the folks in the html/css help thread instead of coming to me. thanks for using the code.
