Personality

Strong willed, strong hearted, and strong spirited—Atsuko is a dynamic and fearless tomboy! She is a bold and adventurous individual who has enough self confidence to give to others, yet she isn't typically boastful or arrogant; she's actually rather breezy, laid back. She's cool and composed under pressure, and the spotlight doesn't faze her, but rather the contrary: she's often fond of it. She isn't afraid to speak her mind and is adamant about her opinions and viewpoints, almost to a fault. Her toughness isn't a front, yet she is still an empathetic and courteous person, willing to offer help complete strangers with whatever. 

She usually isn't ruffled easily but when something upsets her or someone continues to disagree with her opinion, she gets borderline aggressive. She's a very headstrong and obstinate person, and that side of her shows when she's agitated. While she's quick witted, she's also quick to do things; she's reckless, impulsive. Upon closer inspection of Atsuko, she is slightly malnourished. She is too slender and weaker than one might expect from an athletic girl such as her. She gets cold easily and her appetite is rather small. 

Backstory

basically she found a pink and brown kitten when she was 6 years old, took her in, and named her Emiko. Emi lived as Atsuko's cherished pet until her dad kicked Emi out for being a yokai when Atsuko was 12 years old. She lived the next 4 years somewhat miserably, made some great friends the next 2 years, and is continuing to make strong connections in university.

Current Life

Atsuko Suzuki is enrolled as a first year attending a monster-inclusive university in Japan. The school treats monsters as equals; even some of the staff is monster. Through her academic achievements she managed to get a scholarship for the school. She lives on campus, away from her parents. A natural extrovert, she has made many friends in the few months she's attended the university. She still wishes to see her step sister Emiko again.
