Xalein is a Drow assassin that revels in the chaos of being above ground. His sharp smile is 100% genuine when he is cutting down his prey; he has outgrown the need for Lolth to make fun, though he very much enjoys causing disharmony and misery, as is the Drow way.

Underground, where he was raised, he was not wanted as third son of House T'sarrell, and instead of being executed at birth he was stashed away by his Matron to live as a servant to her and her daughters (and his two 'pathetic' brothers).
As soon as he had came to 20 years of age with little training in the ways of an established house boy, he snapped and murdered the heads of his house, Matron included. With that, House T'sarrell was completely disbanded, and Xale felt no need to continue the charade of caring about Drow society in particular. Over the span of 80 years as a seemingly feral Drow, he managed to wander up to the surface and found a whole new world to torment.

He has great knowledge of his chosen skillset. it does not bode well to test him on his prowess-- it's about the only thing he takes seriously. He much prefers to enjoy his kills by toying with them besides.

There is little that intrigues him other than causing issues for everyone... If need be he will keep quiet for a very long time to avoid giving away his true intentions (his patience where his appetite is concerned is vast in comparison to his usual, random whims). It's that unique expression of betrayal that really does it for him, sometimes...
