Wendy is a genuine girl that cares more about the experiences in life rather than the luxuries and things people have. Coming from a poor family, Wendy was taught that money wasn't everything in life and to never let that be the focus of her life and because of that she learned to cherish people for their personalities rather than their appearance or background. She's a sweetheart and shows care to almost everyone, but when it comes to show offs or arrogant people, she tends to not want anything to do with them or want to teach them the lesson her parents taught her. She is a family oriented girl and tends to care more about her family and the people she holds dear than herself. Her cutesy appearance tend to confuse people when it comes to her kpop persona where she portrays herself as a sexy hot rapper and dancer.

Wendy grew up in a family of four with her mom, dad, older brother and herself. Her parents are korean but before she was born, they moved to Los Angeles in search of a better life. Her parents were a poor family and they can only get enough money to just support her and her older brother. It wasn't until her father opened a martial arts studio that their family became more well off. This was when Wendy and her brother started learning martial arts. She didn't like it because she was always being compared to her brother who was a child prodigy. It took her a long time to learn things and as a result of this, she was always in her brother's shadow and was expected to be as smart as him. Wendy was constantly nagged for her bad grades and awful memorization skills. School was never her strong suit and she hated it, but despite everything her parents loved her anyways.
Because of their poor background, Wendy learned to cherish the few things she had. When she got into high school, Wendy had a group of friends that were into hip-hop and street dancing. As time passed by, she saw herself slowly getting into it as well and eventually began learning how to dance. She started getting into rapping late into her junior year when she realized she had the potential to sing, rap, and perform. Because she was always an average student in school, Wendy graduated high school with the minimum requirements and was never offered scholarships for college. Instead, she decided to apply to Stellar entertainment in hopes of becoming famous to do what she liked, not for the money. As a result, she was accepted and she trained to become a kpop idol. She later debuted in a girl group named "MARIONETTE" and now loves her days performing with some of her bestfriends. She is now also able to help her family out a lot along with her brother who has become a composer for Stellar Entertainment.

Jiyeon and Wendy became good friends when they were introduced in MARIONETTE together. The two bonded well over rapping and Jiyeon even helped Wendy with her rapping techniques. Jiyeon, Somi, and Wendy are close friends.
Wendy and Somi met once "MARIONETTE" debuted. At first the two girls were pretty quiet with each other but as they hanged out more, the two girls became closer. They bonded over dancing until late at night. Wendy would keep Somi and Ivy company during their dance practices. Wendy also steps up a lot for Somi when people "bully" her or say things about her.
Wendy and Ivy met after debuting in MARIONETTE together. The two became close after many late nights of learning choreos together with Somi for their performances. Wendy started off just keeping them company while Ivy and Somi practiced and then started joining in the practices. Now, it's like a routine thing they do.
Wendy and Yuqi met when they debuted. Yuqi struggled a lot with her dancing, so Wendy would help her a bit alongside Ivy. Yuqi respects Wendy as her Unnie and Wendy protects Yuqi.
Wendy and Mint met when they debuted in "MARIONETTE". Wendy is overprotective of Mint because she is gullible and easy going so she gets taken advantage of easily. Wendy spoils her like she was her little sister.
