Jiyeon is a wild, rambunctious girl who is always finding ways to have fun. She is high energy and always very loud. She is a natural-borned leader who gets the job done while making the best of it. Though her crazy personality may make her seem childish, Jiyeon is mature when it calls for it. She is kind hearted and caring to those who she holds dear and is always cheering them up when they are sad. Life is tough as an idol, especially being young and away from your family. That's why Jiyeon views her members as her babies and cares for them in a sisterly way. Still, she is a kid at heart herself and if what they want to do is something fun, she let's them do it. Overall, she is a caring yet crazy idol with a love for her members and what she does.

Jiyeon was born into a normal korean household loved by two wonderful parents. She was the only child in the house which meant she was pampered and given the best care. The only thing was that she was an extremely sick child. Any cold or sickness there was around, she would get. Because of this, Jiyeon was constantly at home alone with no one to play with. Her parents decided to home school her for a bit until her immune system developed. She stayed at home until her middle school days when she finally begged her parents to let her go to highschool normally.
She ended up going back to school, just more careful with her sickness. She was able to enjoy a normal high school life with friends and boyfriends. She loved to go to events and parties with her friends. A lot of these events were to concerts for famous singers her group of friends liked. She got her passion for music going to these concerts and karaoke. She loved singing but most importantly, she fell in love with rapping. It didn't take much for her friends to note her talent and tell her to audition to become a singer or something. After highschool, she auditioned to a few companies but none wanted her talent. It wasn't until a friend told her about Stellar Entertainment that she finally got accepted after auditioning to the company. There she met Somi Hwang, another trainee that quickly became friends with her. The two girls were amazing friends, counting on each other for anything and everything. It was a surprise to them when they learned that they will be in the same group.
Now, Jiyeon is the leader and main rapper of "Sirens" and has a good group of friends she lives with. Somi is still her right-hand girl seeing as she was going to be the leader but turned it down. Somi couldn't ask for anything better in her life than being able to fulfill her dream as an idol.

- Somi has actually become her bestfriend and Somi only opens up to her when she's having a hard time.
- She was offered the role as Leader for MARIONETTE after Somi turned it down since she was the next one the company seemed fit to lead the girls.
- They sometimes call her the "Maknae" leader because she acts like a maknae at times. Even though she's actually the oldest.
- She is also not fit at all. She has no stamina to work out and gets easily tired during concerts and choreos but she works hard.
- Her, Somi, and Wendy are considered the Unni line, which means older members of the group.
- Jiyeon and Yuqi love to coordinate outfits for the girls.
The two of them met in their trainee years and have been the best of friends since then. The two of them count on each other during hardships and emotional roller coasters. The two of them are also seen as the "Parents" of Sirens.
Jiyeon and Wendy became good friends when they were introduced in MARIONETTE together. The two bonded well over rapping and Somi even helped Wendy with her rapping techniques. Jiyeon, Somi, and Wendy are close friends.
Jiyeon met Ivy after joining MARIONETTE along with Mint. They became friends with time as they performed as idols but in the beginning Ivy was very reserved since she respected Jiyeon a lot. Now, Ivy looks up to Jiyeon for being a great leader.
Jiyeon and Yuqi actually became friends after joining MARIONETTE over their outfits. The two girls are into fashion so they loved talking about their styles and what they like. They even take pictures together. Now, the two of them help with picking the group's outfits.
Jiyeon and Mint met after joining MARIONETTE together. Mint respects Jiyeon as her "unni", or big sister in korean terms, and asks for a lot of help.
