Passionate - Honest - Gregarious
Incredibly emotional, Alaya is well known for her explosive temperament and is somewhat feared for it. In spite of it, she's incredibly kind and makes a push to make and manage friendships in spite of her reputation. Even then, she struggles in school as she struggles to study without feeling stress. She likes listening to music specifically, though she isn't fond of playing it as getting it wrong stresses her out.
What is currently assumed to be emotional difficulties is actual Alaya being incredibly powerful. That being recognized only makes things worse, as now that it's realized, she's getting a new kind of attention from her father's side of the family. A kind she never asked for or wanted.
History
A young girl, Alaya struggles with her emotions, and as a result her powers and abilities struggle as well. In most cases, she wouldn't even be able to make a spark, but instead she's incredibly dangerous, starting fires in her sleep.

Relationships
Alaya's father, a kindhearted man whose struggling to raise his daughter under the pressures from his family and her own problems. Loves her very much regardless, but his social standing alone isn't near enough to protect her. (probably because he's only respected for his family) He's very anti-war and has been sure to share that sentiment with his children. He feels some guilt as fire magic is traditional in his family and what Alaya seems to be struggling with the most. Alaya likes to go to him when things go wrong because of how he's able to calm her down.
Alaya's mother, born and raised in the isles of Leicúig and has had a difficult time acclimating to the small town's hostility. Alaya feels both the sting of distrust from her own magical abilities, but from her mother being from out of town as well. Alaya loves her mother, but the whispers of the townspeople sometimes makes her wonder if she really does struggle with her emotions because of her. When Alaya can't go outside or interact with her peers, Irene will teach her how to do something like a hobby. Cooking was a failure, but the pair will often sew together when they can. Comes from a large family who Alaya only hears of.
Alaya's younger brother, David is a wickedly smart individual, even from a young age. Alaya has always tried to support him, but sometimes finds she does more harm than good.
A close friend, very encouraging and very extreme.
